Women's Name Brand Shoes

What should I wear with these shoes?

I just bought a pair of shoes almost identical to these (I think they are the exact same, but they have a different brand name on the inside) http://www.modcloth.com/store/Modcloth/Womens/Shoes/Lace-Up+Brogues I'm having trouble finding things to wear them with, the don't look good with jeans, they just look like boring boots underneath them. I was thinking maybe a mini dress or a skirt with tights. Could anyone give me some links to things that would work well? It would be much appreciated. ^_^
